Internship

Hi Everyone!

okay, so I've been doing my internship for the second week now.

Not easy, have been OT-ing for everyday from day 1.

Well, have learnt alot since I entered and it has only been less than a month!

Really have got to thank God for a patient and helpful mentor.

He has been patiently guiding and teaching me new stuff.

I entered the company to intern for motion graphics but apparently my skills aren't there yet.

Miraculously, I was given a chance and not only that,

I get to learn from the senior motion graphic artist there.

How fabulous is that, all by God's grace.

Over there, there is also the senior editor

He's basically in charge of everybody and kindda oversees everyone.

So for post-production, which is the department I'm posted to,

he is our in-charge but apparently he's not my mentor.

But I guess it's kind of a good thing :P opps, i didn't say that guys

So for half of ystday and the whole of today,

my mentor was MC and I'm alone.

Missing out on 2 days of "lessons" too.

Ohya, all of the other interns there are kindda busy,

except for me maybe because i'm not very familiar to the video field

so they dare not let me handle projects hahah! 

So the interns all agree that everyday of my internship is like going to sch.

not only do I get to learn new stuff and not get scolded (maybe not yet),

I get even more critique and consultation than in sch!

But the more my mentor teach me, 

the more I feel like their expectations would rise.

So the pressure to perform well kind of builds up.

Just praying hard that this internship would be a fulfilling one and not a dreadful one!

Okay, so tomorrow I would be gng to MBS for a stay to watch NDP the next day!

Kindda excited hahah, with all the food granny's gonna cook for us.

Well, there aren't going to be many people though.

Oh well, at least we got to manage a small gathering LOL
